The Statement series by Dutch interior design label WOOOD is characterised by its elegant, rounded design and very high seating comfort. The name says it all: making a statement is exactly what this seating collection does. The Statement series has endless combination possibilities, is tough, pure and timeless!

Material

Statement is constructed from a combination of solid wood, chipboard, plywood, regular foam and synthetic wadding with a density of 250 g/m3 and zigzag springs. The seat contains a Bonell suspension, normal foam and synthetic wadding with a density of 250 g/m3. The backrest consists of a mix of polyurethane foam with a density of 23 kg/m3. This Statement is upholstered in a coarsely woven velvet. Our rich Ferra velvet has a distinctive texture, providing a luxurious look and special shine. The soft fabric is made of 100% polyester, which makes maintenance very easy. The Ferra textured velvet has a Martindale of 85,000, making it highly resistant to scratching, fading and pilling. Ferra is very soft to the touch because of its chenille yarns, the jacquard weaving technique creates a voluminous upholstery.

Maintenance

Small stains can be easily removed with a damp cloth, larger stains can be dabbed with a damp cloth and a neutral furniture shampoo. If the fabric can be detached from the furniture, it can be washed inside out at 30 degrees. To maintain the velvet shine, it is recommended to brush the furniture weekly with a special velvet brush. As a basic rule, we do not recommend impregnating our upholstered furniture. However, should this be desired, please test the impregnating agent on an invisible part of the fabric beforehand.
