The Statement series by the Dutch interior label WOOOD is characterised by its elegant, rounded design and very high seating comfort. The name says it all: making a statement is exactly what this seating collection does. The Statement-series has endless combination possibilities, is tough, pure and timeless!

Material

Statement is made up of a combination of solid wood, chipboard, plywood, normal foam and synthetic wadding with a density of 250 g/m3 and a zigzag spring. The seat has a Bonell spring core, normal foam and synthetic wadding with a density of 250 g/m3. The back consists of a mix of polyurethane foam with a density of 23 kg/m3.

This statement is covered with a leather look made of 65% polyester and 35% recycled leather scraps (Martindale 23,000). Our Kovis leather look has a unique appearance and is a sustainable choice due to the use of leather remnants! The material is made up of two parts: the bottom layer consists of recycled real leather, which provides the natural look. The upper layer is a polyester covering that protects the leather and prevents unevenness. This makes it a sturdy combination fabric. The microfibre is knitted from very small synthetic fibres. This production technique provides the sturdiness and a fine, soft feel. The fabric is very colourfast, but during use the appearance and structure of the fabric will show its natural characteristics more, this does not change the durability and quality.

Maintenance

Clean the fabric with a damp cloth. Stains? Use a neutral soap solution to remove the stain and then wipe off briefly with a damp cloth. Do not rub, but dab! Rubbing leads to light stains in the fabric. Direct sunlight always results in discolouration, always try to avoid this. Discoloured leather looks will never regain their original colour. Basically, we do not recommend impregnating our upholstered furniture. However, should you wish to do so, please test the impregnation agent on an invisible area of the fabric in advance. The fabric should not be treated with grease for leather. This gives stains that will not go away.

Delivery

This article is delivered in two packages with clear assembly instructions. The two elements are easily connected by means of brackets. To protect hard floors, place felt glides on the underside of the legs.
